soap plant - chlorogalum pomeridianum

The base is just a bunch of long wavy wide grassy leaves that grows a boring single center stalk (that often get eaten by deer) that surprisingly throws out these lovely flowers in the evening or cool air. They stay open at night to be pollinated by moths.
