A fine day for fishing, Booker's Mill, Alabama

Originally built in the 1800's, Booker's Mill was a working water mill in the early 1900's, providing electricity to the neighborhood. Along with the water wheel, the property once hosted a stone gristmill and one of the first cotton gins in Conecuh County, both of which were claimed by fire.

Booker is my mother's maiden name and we think this place is certainly a part of our heritage.
