Birthday Cake Pops

    Newer Older

My first attempt. Cute, tasty, fun. And a lesson in patience. I didn't leave them in the freezer long enough and made my life more difficult than in had to be. Lesson learned.

I used Bakerella's Basic Cake Pop Recipe with Rainbow Chip batter and Pink Vanilla flavored candy coating.

Try the cupcake version. :) It's even more time-consuming and frustrating but I tell you, NO ONE will forget them. I honestly get random comments practically weekly about the cupcake bites I make for Emma's birthday every year. People love them. Love the pops version and might switch it up and do that next year instead. So cute.

Definitely plan on trying them. Saw them a while back on Bakerella's site. They are adorable.

What beautiful pictures! I love the idea of cake pops! I bought my friend a cake pops book for her birthday last year and I have been obsessed with the idea ever since. I don't know that I will ever have the patience myself, though. HAHA!
