Los Lunas, Valencia County is home to the oldest standing train station in New Mexico. Built in 1879 but it has now been relocated away from the rail tracks. It's no longer used as a station but as the local VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) Hall. The new station opened for service on December 11, 2006, but isn't as wonderful as this old building! (I think the Cottonwood tree on the right is definitely dead!)
