I ventured into town today after an engagement shoot to seek a very specific portrait for a website commission...I didn't find the street subject I was looking for however I did meet a very cool guy who became part of my 100 Strangers ongoing street portrait project!
Meet Paul! Paul was standing in a doorway beside a barber shop that he works in having a smoke break. A quick introduction and he was well up for a portrait. A total dude, great tattoos (check my instagram @urbanscot tomorrow -direct link www.instagram.com/urbanscot/ )
Paul is a true Nottingham lad, born in Broxtowe and now living in the South of the City. Today was his last day working in Nottingham as tomorrow he sets up a new barber shop in Derby where he will be based.
I shot this on my Fuji XPRO2 and edited the jpeg, not the RAF file in Lightroom CC with a small edit in Photoshop CC. A Lastolite tribute-grip reflector was used to bring in some light from the street as it was super late in the afternoon!
