Antietam Survivors from Saline

Ann Hotchkin and Timothy Nutting. Ann's husband, Francis was a close friend of Webster Ruckman, both were at Antietam. Webster was killed and Francis was woulded at Burnside Bridge


Timothy Nutting lived in Saline, with his father Rufus who founded the Lodi Academy. Webster and Frances attended the Academy, so they all knew one another.


Timothy ended in the Mississippi 13th, by being in the wrong place at the wrong time, the Confederate soldier from Saline. He served at the Battle of Antietam, 150 years ago.


Ann Hotchkins husband Francis was wounded at Antietam, their close friend Webster Ruckman was killed at Antietam.
