Surveying the Cadnia site - Flinders ranges May 2017
From the 28th of April to the 27th of May 2017, Class 10 students of Mount Barker and Abhaya Waldorf Schools in Australia and India, jointly surveyed the Cadnia Townsite in the Flinders Ranges, South Australia.

It was a once in a lifetime experience for some students ( especially those from India) and was enjoyed by all the students, teachers and adults on the camp. The subsequent main lesson at Mount Barker Waldorf School was one where the students had to use trigonometric concepts and crunch numbers, to draw a map of the Townsite.

Some of the student's comments were - 'Best camp ever!', 'Wish I could study in this school forever' and ' Awesome camp'.

It was a learning experience enjoyed by all and when it was time to leave Mount Barker, there were tears in some of the hosts, who wished the Indians well on their onward journey in life!
