Gorgeous! Amazing sense of light and atmospheric. What size are you working at?

  2. Bissky 37 months ago | reply

Thanks again fleetwoodley. I recently switched to a larger format, 26 x 36 cm arches watercolour block, from my moleskin. It is small enough to be portable, but big enough to use a larger brush, which I have seen often in demos online.

I love this. Once again everything is so beautifully simplified and yet so complex. The bits of yellow really pop.

Wonderful control of the chaos through your use of color, contrast and reflections! Excellent technique, a great sketch!

Wow, this is great control, color and composition....I am curious what size this is drawn at. A construction site doesn't usually look this good!

Thank you MacKay . It was done on a 8.5 x 11 inch arches watercolor block. You are right most construction sites are controlled chaos.

fantastic. love that reflection. and how you made the chaos of the scene readable.

Bonnie thank-you and also to you Brunelleschi once again. Renefijten, I wish I could say I planned that but it is actually how the view was, although I did leave out some elements to simplify.
