A Bottle of Scented Mimosa...

Acacia podalyriifolia from Australia's south eastern Queensland is one of the most popular and widely cultivated of wattles. Due to the ease in which it self-seeds, this sweetly scented mimosa has been officially declared an alien invasive weed in South Africa. Plants can be found growing throughout the country wherever they have escaped from cultivated gardens. The bright flowers appear in the mid-winter months.
