Hand in Hand - Organic growth promoter
Another element of a return to organic farming in rural India is the use of natural - and of age-old - recipes for growth promotion and soil fertilisation. Here we use several products from the cow - manure, milk, ghee (butter) and urine - and some fruits like coconut and banana to mix a potent natural fertilizer. All these are readily available in the area from the farm itself. Think of it like lunch for plants.
