Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice) at Madame Tussaud's New York
The greatest fad in late 1990s pop music was the British female quintet Spice Girls. And the most memorable Spice Girl was Geri Halliwell, who was known by nicknames Ginger Spice and Sexy Spice.
Halliwell's pursuit of a solo career led to the eventual fizzling out of the Spice Girls just two years after their debut. But the group eventually came together more recently for a farewell world tour.
