Looking Back Designing Forward
A high-level looks at how bike sharing has being 1 of the biggest innovations to transportation, environment and culture in the last 10 years by showing its' the global density. To do this I created a global bike sharing density map using data from Google Maps. I used Java and Processing to design a custom application to generate the 2d data graphic. Then I turned it into a 3d object using paper, string, knife, scissors, and glue. It was commissioned by Fabrica and RIT for the "Looking Back Designing Forward" show at the Vignelli Center on May 7th.
