Steve Jobs ,RIP.
Heard the news in the wee small hours , what a loss
The man who changed so much about how we live, and in his own inimatble style.
The media constantly refers to his illness as Pancreatic cancer , which is in fact incorrect.
He actually died from a rare form of cancer called Neoroendocrine tumour of the Pancreas, which is substantially diffrent from the more common Pancreatic cancer.
A very rare and bewildering illnes , and ironically called NET for short.
I followed his career with fascination, and latterly his illness, as I lost someone very close to me from the same illness , and strangely enough like Jobs , that person bucked all the odds, and his take on it was "hmn maybe one day theyll write a paper on me, name a syndromme after me I told you I was special" all delivered in trademark black humour. like Jobs too.
RIP Steve and S the worlds duller without you.
