1960s Pleasant Valley suburban ranch house - with car
"...Another Pleasant Valley Sunday, here in Status symbol land..." - Monkees song lyrics
This house is lived in by a Mr. John Sample and his wife Jane Sample. John loves to keep things just so with his lawn perfectly neat and trim, his car is a nice plain red of an uncertain make or model, and his house has a even coat of the same paint color as everybody else. He even has a Weber kettle grill in the backyard, ready to burn charcoal and cook some hot-dogs / hamburgers.
John works a regular job in an average company making everyday things, while Jane works as the secretary to John's boss. Together, these two are the typical 1960's TV family, and are always content with the way things are. Just look at those happy smiles!
(This post is meant to be a prod at the "Typical family" of the 1950's / 60's TV, with their cookie cutter house, car, and life. Please do not take them or this post too seriously!)
