    Brilliant stuff. Love it.

Spent most of last Saturday going round the air museum near my home, looking down the engine intakes of Phantoms and F-15s. This made me think of that.

Excellent as always. That nose is perfect and looks positively painful to design and execute.

thanks! There were a lot of tricky angles on this to work out. That was what made this thing such a fun challenge.

I don't really like the way any of the newer russian jets look but I'm fairly partial towards the MIG-25 and most that came before it.

I've never gotten to go to an aircraft musuem yet, though I'm probably the only one to blame for that at this point. Based on how much I like aircraft models, i'm sure I would go nuts seeing stuff like this in person.

Me too! I'm noticing a trend, my time spent on an individual model has gone way up. Part of it is that I've gotten a lot more obsessive in my building. I think it is a phenomenon of scale-model building, which is what most of my creations have been of late.

The nose was definitely a pain. I probably went through 20 different iterations to get to that point.

My step-fathers friend went to a mesuem/airport or something like that and, if I am not mistaken, actually got to go inside a SR-71 Blackbird and space shuttle.

Six weeks after my inital viewing of this moc, there is hardly any activity on it. This is sad, such a great moc, with so much detail in it, it should be admired, not unoticed...
