95/365 - Shine!

    Newer Older

    95/365 - 04/05/11

Another attempt at something new with photography. Light painting is a fun, but requires some thinking and "contortion".

Why Shine? You will notice my screen name is Larry White (Trying_to_Shine). This is a reference to my favorite verse in the Bible and my hope in how I live my life. Frankly, some days are better than others ;-)

In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. - Matthew 5:16

    As always, thanks for looking!

Really well done! I've only tried light painting once before, and while it was fun I never created anything nearly this detailed. It's great to see you trying so many cool experiments!

I really like this, how did you make it so flawless and not light in between the letters?

I love light painting! Mine never come out this nice, usually just a bunch of fun scribbles. Great work Larry!

I knew before I saw who posted the photo that it was you---I knew why your name has "trying to shine" in it. That's what we are called to do!

      Cool effect by the way!

Light painting looks like fun. I tried it with the PeopleMover and fireworks, but this is a lot more challenging I think.
