Minnewater - Bruges
I had expected Bruges to be one of the highlights of our river cruise in April. After all, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and our friends had enjoyed several days there last year. Alas, the beautiful medieval town was overcrowded with tour groups and we had heavy rain at some inconvenient times (like waiting outside the museum for the rest of our group to show up). If I go back, I would take the advice of friends and stay in the city and venture out into the countryside during peak tourist hours, then explore during early morning and the golden hour.
On the other hand, I was able to get some nice images between the raindrops and missing persons. I do like the roofs, gables, and steeples on the beautiful brick buildings near the Minnewater, a park near the entrance to the city.
Thanks for your visit and support and have a great day whenever you see this!
