Bay Bridge and Treasure Island

Rotting posts from an old pier make an interesting foreground to the Bay Bridge. In the far distance you can just see the cranes that keep the port of Oakland busy, at least when the Occupy forces are not trying to shut it down. I like the feeling of extended space that comes from the wide angle setting of the lens.

 

This is the first of two photos taken yesterday along the Embarcadero.
