Cream Cottage

The Minx with its 3rd registration, 768 ETR ("TR" was Southampton: it was given this when it was unloaded from the ship). Outside "Little Barn" in East Wittering, Sussex, that we had holidayed in before, during the late 50s. We all used to call it "Cream Cottage" instead. It was recently for sale for £295k: a few hundred quid would have bought it in those days.

The woman who owned it - or at least had the keys - lived in a bungalow nearby (there's hundreds now, but only a few then). My brother pointed to the tv set in her living room and said "what's that?"
