Chitwan National Park Nepal
Eric Lon invites Flickr to discover Chitwan. It is the oldest National Park of Nepal located in the south, Sahaura region, in a plain area called Terai, not far from Lumbini, the birth place of Lord Buddha.
The park protects 70 Bengal tigers and 450 one horned rhinos, as well as a rich wildlife in the forest and many crocodiles by the river.
Tourists are discovering the park by riding elephants and conoeing a river with local guides.
