As an admirer of his work, I used this photo as a reference to paint Mr. Hitchens. I am hoping to learn more about the photo -at your leisure of course. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent! Let me know I can do anything for you.

And now it's used as the main picture in his Wikipedia article. Great picture. :)

Hey, thanks for the heads-up. This Hithchen's pic was used for about two years, and was recently replaced by a more current one. But it seems that it's back up again.

I hope Hitchens sticks around much longer.

BTW, I'm going back to TAM after missing out three years.

@ensceptico Ah, didn't know that. It's been a while since I visited his page on WP, and when I saw the other picture, I thought to myself, that's not a good picture to use. So I took it up on the talk page and found your picture, which I think is the best Hitchens (PBUH) picture on Commons.

So you're going back to TAM this year? Really cool. I'm located in Europe, but if I had the money, I'd go myself, for sure. But I'm going to TAM London this year, if there's going to be one. Missed it last year, was too late for the tickets. :-C But not this year, oh no. TAM meetings are too great to miss out on.
