Super Nova In M82 The Cigar Galaxy on January 23rd 06:23ut. comparing to the image I took on april of last year showing the SN with markers with the latest image. The supernova detected as early as the 15th of january is currently at magnitude +11 to +12 at 12 million light years distance.
