Today I guided 13 year old Marshal from San Antonio on his first fly fishing trip. We wade fished Dry Run Creek ( which is the kids under 16 and the mobility impaired fishery that flows into Norfork Tailwater) in North West Arkansas. His grandfather has been fishing with me for years and wanted his grandson to have the trip of a life time. Marshal landed 8 fish over 20 inches today. This being one of the best. He caught the fish on a hydros tip flex four weight and 5x tippet on a size 14 soft hackle. Fall fishing in arkansas is on fire right now...
