One In One Thousand...Sea Turtle Rescue

I decided that I would submit this photograph for "Your Best Shot 2015" because this was such an incredible moment of HOPE and LOVE. To be able to witness our future generation rescuing our future endangered Sea Turtle. To see a crowd of people with a common cause, immediately gather round to watch and cheer this baby sea turtle while it made it's way to the ocean and hopefully be the "One In On Thousand" sea turtle that makes it in the world. Well it has to be my best shot of this year. A moment I will never forget.

I had the wonderful opportunity to go to Englewood Florida for two weeks. My nephew Tucker had an amazing experience and rescued a baby Sea Turtle. He noticed all of the seagulls fighting in the sky over something when one of the seagulls dropped what they were fighting over into the sand. He went over and to his wonderful surprise it was a baby Sea Turtle. He was such a "HERO" and kept all the seagulls from getting the Sea Turtle again. Soon a big crowd of people were around him and this beautiful baby Sea Turtle to witness this AWESOME once in a lifetime event that was unfolding. The Sea Turtle made its way to the ocean and off it went swimming. I was advised that only one out of one thousand Sea Turtles make it.

This is the "ONE" that did!

Almost all of the species of sea turtles are listed as Endangered Species. Here is a link for more information about these beautiful Sea Turtles:
