Naaba Apiniyela learns forestry skills

Northern Ghana is rapidly falling behind the South as the lower part of the country develops.

In Bolgatanga villagers are learning forestry skills, which means that they are better able to manage their environment, produce more food, and even earn money from the things that grow on trees.

For Naaba Apiniyela, Chief of Gowrie, these skills mean that he and his people are able to take control of their futures, and move towards a brighter future.
