I often went to the Mayfair as a kid as we lived in the neighborhood. When an "A" film was playing, they wouldn't admit kids under 14? unless accompanied by a parent or adult. So we used to hang around outside & ask every adult going in to take us in with them. Sometimes we'd have to ask dozens of people before some one would take pity on us & let us go in with them.
