    Dianella multipedicellata O. Degener
    Hawaiian names: `uki`uki
    Family: Xanthorrhoeaceae
Habit: an herbaceous plant with rhizomes that forms a clump initially. With time, a patch of plants consisting of a single clone may be formed.
    Native, endemic.

Dianella multipedicellata has been recorded from Kaua`i, O`ahu (Wai`anae Mountains and Ko`olau Mountains), Lāna`i, West Maui, and Hawai`i (recorded from only one area - the Kalapana Trail area in the district of Puna). Although the species has not been recorded from the island of Moloka`i, it probably occurs there.

Habitat: dry to mesic forest and shrubland.

    Dianella multipedicellata is relatively rare.
