SCIENCE-U Ecology Camp 007

Jim Strauss, Professor of Biology at Penn State and Director of SCIENCE-U Ecology Camp, demonstrated how the Nittany Valley's geology influence watershed patterns throughout the region during a morning session on July 16 at the Arboretum at Penn State. By simply pouring water into the watershed maps creeks and tributaries, Strauss showed campers how rain water makes it's way through the valley.
