SCIENCE-U Ecology Camp 005

A camper attending Penn State's SCIENCE-U Ecology Camp displayed a portion of a rats skull she had found while dissecting an owl pellet during an activity held at the Arboretum at Penn State on the morning of July 16. The pellets are regurgitated from an owl's digestive track and a variety of undigested treasures can be found including bones and fur. Visit for more about SCIENCE-U youth camps hosted by Penn State's Eberly College of Science.
