    Participants at the Technology Showcase on Additive Manufacturing, also referred to as 3-D printing, examined the RepRap, an open-source desktop 3-D printing system created by students in Penn State's School of Engineering Design. The two-day event, hosted by Penn State's Center for Innovative Materials Processing, is being held at the Penn Stater Conference Center and Hotel Jan. 8 and 9.
