Jerry Zolten, Associate Professor of Communications at Penn State Altoona, welcomed musicians and guests to 'Music 2 Life, Stand Up and Sing' on Sept. 6 in Foster Auditorium at the Pattee-Paterno Library on Penn State's University Park campus. The two-day event welcomes socially-conscious songwriters and musicians to discuss how social issues impact music. The event was hosted by Penn State's Department of Communication Arts and Sciences and feature 'Music 2 Life', a soundtrack for social change initiative co-founded by Noel Paul Stookey formerly of the folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary.
