Penn State varsity hockey player Tommy Olczyk, left, Terry Pegula and associate athletic director for hockey Joe Battista, dedicated the new Pegula Ice Arena by pouring water from the old Penn State rink ice, melted snow from Mount Nittany, and melted snow taken from the Nittany Lion Statue onto center ice at the new facility during opening ceremonies held Oct. 11. Penn State's innaugural varsity game in the new arena will happen on Oct. 11 when the Nittany Lion men's team hosts Army.
