The Polaroid Factory at Enschede, The Netherlands

After 42 years of manufacturing the factory will be closing next month.

UPDATE: On 22nd March 2010 it was announced that The Impossible Project had done 'the impossible' and are now producing integral instant film again at the old Polaroid factory. The factory has been condensed, and now occupies the building pictured in the centre polaroid.

Why do I hear the angels singing? Oh, it's the promised land.

    (land...get it? - sorry)

Like Lou said - amazing set.

    Thank you both!

It was really good seeing the manufacturing process, and the passionate people that have been making these products for so many years.

It finally made me realise that it's all coming to an end, and how so much is just being tossed away...... Cheers Tom!
