Owl's Head Lighthouse ~ "Interesting Perspective."

Project 52 - Week 37 - Theme "Interesting Perspective."

This is the Owl's Head lighthouse located on the coastal waters in Rockland Maine. It was built in 1852.

My mom and I spent four wonderful days together last week discovering the rocky coast and many seaports of Maine. What a fabulous time we had! I now know why they call Maine the "Vacationland" state. So much to see and do!

We walked out through the woods to find this lighthouse. When I got to it I didn't feel like climbing the seems a bit creepy to me. I don't know why but it did. So I decided to photograph it from below. I actually like this's an interesting perspective.

Congrats again to Daphne, Michael and the entire family on the birth of your beautiful new baby boy Jefferson. I have been enjoying your photos of Facebook and look forward to all these newborn images I just know you're dying to create. Have fun...such precious memories. Hugs!
