Fireworks shack in Babb, Montana. On the way back from Sled I decided to drive back through the states. Went through Lethbridge which was a little detour, to the Alberta/Montana border crossing and made it as far as Missoula before I had to sleep. It didn't occur to me after I crossed the border that it was Independence Day so by the time I hit the small towns of Glacier National Park and the surrounding Flathead Lake area I drove through all these towns where folks were sitting by the roadside watching firework displays. Even looking out on the lake I saw pops of colour in the sky from one end to another. I also had the best veggie pizza at the Glacier Highland Resort which lasted me 4 meals. Woke up in Missoula at around 4:30AM and drove out on the I-90 West towards Couer D'Alene. Idaho was just non-existent to me on the drive so I'll have to go back there someday. Got to Spokane and wanted to stop there but by this time I just wanted to head back home so massively tired. Stopped by some fruit stands for Rainier cherries.
