Half of the world's population of bluebells are in the UK.
Each year I take some frames, each year I feel I could do better, which is I suppose a positive as if I were satisfied what would I do the next year?
This year I have a new "convenience" zoom to try. The 18-105 is great lens, especially for the very modest cost, and has been a regular on my DX camera as well as on the D3 in crop mode. The Nikon 16-80mm f/2.8-4E VR DX has received good reviews and has apparently the latest and greatest coatings and VR and a touch more speed with a similar weight. I need to shoot more obviously but on the first outing I have no complaints.
Not sure where the best compromise is for close up work but this needed more depth of field, more to investigate.
