Gum Tree in the middle of the paddock.

    Newer Older

I was at home Sunday afternoon. and was keen to go for a drive. I had this idea in my head, So I headed off west of Gympie. Out towards Glastonbury Via the Wide Bay Highway. And there it was the lone Gum tree standing alone in the paddock. It was late in the day and the sun was already behind the clouds. I took three raw exposure's and ran then through DPHDR. I just love Gum Trees.

Great lighting. Perfect color contrast & saturation. Have you tried cropping so the tree isn't dead center?

      Thanks for your visit.

thanks for your visit Michael and comments. I thought about what you said and did look at doing it however it looked better to me being in the centre. Funny you mention this, I was talking to a very successful photographer over the weekend. And he mention about using thirds and said it is all in the eye of the person taking the shot. He also mention that the great artist of old always centred there subjects. Rembrandt was one he mention. But I like your comment and will keep it in mind. Thanks again.
