Songscape: Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge

On October 14-18, 2017, indie rock artist Conner Youngblood visited Utah's Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge for a very special Songscape.

Songscape songwriting retreats create direct partnerships between land agencies and musicians. Through the hospitality of host conservation organizations, artists are immersed in the beauty and history of protected lands.

Recording artists use this retreat time to create a song inspired by the land and their experiences. A music video is shot on location to capture the beauty of the landscape alongside the song it inspired.

The song is also donated to the host organization and used to inspire and encourage others to value and visit these landscapes.

And please stay tuned for the music video, which launches January 1, 2018!
