stefan's birthday!
since i had nothing planned because work is so nuts and i am a horrible gf, he said there was a concert at carnegie hall that he'd be interested in seeing... the kronos quartet (from SF natch). so i got tixs and we went to a quick dinner at yakitori totto (where he had chicken neck, gah) and pork and noodles and i had a salad and fresh made tofu. we had some sake and it was nice and warm on a kinda cold night. then we moved on over to the concert. i actually got great seats - first balcony, first 2 seats! so that was nice. the hall where kronos was playing was in the basement so you could hear the subway going by. they did a great opening number with kids from the NY chorus group where they sung and made ambient noises by rubbing their hands over the choir books, it was such a cool effect!
so here we are waiting for the R train after the concert where i am trying to take my 365 with stefan over my shoulder trying to art direct me on how to take my shot. bossy! look at how his hand (his collarbone is way better now) is about to grab my camera! i only had one shot to take before he wrestled me to the ground and stole my camera and took this shot. so that's why i have this weird and panicked expression on my face!
