Day 20
tgif!
today at lunch some co-workers introduced me to Cafe Henri, a very cute and v v french restaurant. i had a goat cheese and leek crepe with a great glass of rose. while we were there Julia Stiles came in, who looked completely normal and cute. like, no makeup and normal clothes and normal weight and normal attitiude. hey julia, i really liked the new bourne movie!
then back to work, where we had a group meeting and celebrated another co-worker's birthday (happy 30th jake!) with beer and cake. yum. so then it was like 4pm and i was pretty much toast what with the heavy french lunch and wine and then the chocolate bomb cake and red stripe. oh and i had a chai in between. big eating day.
so then bruce and christy were landing at jfk at 4:30 (YAY!!), and came to my work around 6:30. i showed them around the office (great views) and then we went to Counter for dinner and it was ok. I liked the appetizers but the seitan was ok, a little dry. then we went to Boucarou and had some drinks, (oh and saw this guy on the way there with his gf, which felt like a cheat to me since i knew they lived in the neighborhood bc my friend audrey lives with them, but i guess it's still a legit sighting), then we went to an outdoor cafe in soho bc it was 11pm and still 80 degrees out. i had a cupcake and bruce had chicken wings (ring of fire!) and christy had a red wine. then we walked back to my work, got their bags, and melted in the PATH station wating for a train, which was packed.

oh and it's my bff's birthday! shout out to you courtenay! woot!
