Fisher Museum of Art

Founded in 1939 by USC’s first female trustee, Elizabeth Holmes Fisher, the USC Fisher Museum of Art was the first museum established in Los Angeles devoted exclusively to the exhibition and collection of fine art. Today, the museum’s schedule includes displays of the permanent collection as well as changing hosted exhibitions ranging from antiquities to contemporary works. (photo by Dietmar Quistorf)
