Glyptic
Nicolette Gray identifies this faces as Monumental and attributes it to Stephenson Blake c1884.¹

The design was patented in 1878 by Herman Ihlenburg [Berlin 1843–Philadelphia 1906], who assigned the rights to MacKellar, Smiths & Jordan (Philadelphia).

MSJ showed it as Glyptic. Concurrently, MSJ also showed Monumental, an unrelated 3D roman face likewise patented and assigned in 1878 by Edwin C. Ruthven [b Scotland, 1811].

This letterpress typeface has been digitally archived for posterity.
