Biscuits, First Attempt

First attempt at scratch-made biscuits. So simple, yet, as I have learned, quite an art form. Apparently the key is not to overhandle the dough, lest you work the gluten too much. Tricksy, tricksy.

 

I used this recipe. Eventually, I wanna try to make these, but I think that's for the advanced class. Also, I shoulda bought White Lily flour, but I didn't think of it in the store. Oh well.

 

Kids gobbled the biscuit I gave 'em and will likely be eating these for breakfast tomorrow.
