Ball o' Dough
So, since Amanda's been diagnosed with gestational diabetes, we're having to eat healthier. One thing we're trying to do is to cut back on stuff like sugar and bleached flour bread products. What you see here is a ball of dough for 100% whole wheat bread (I even had to add gluten!).
The camera wanted to flash the shot, but this turned out too bright. I used a trick that PWinn put me onto and used a piece of white paper to diffuse the flash as I took the shot. I think it turned out okay.
I used diced apples and (believe it or else), pureed prunes to sweeten the bread in lieu of sugar. It actually turned out quite nicely, and tastes not too bad with light margarine on it.
