A great piece of Americana! I really like the row of four parasols with their bold stripes. Also, oddly, the way the telegraph lines seem to drape the trees works very well!

Very well observed. Great in b/w w excellent contrast and tones in the sky. The missing sunshade is perfect. Great documentary-style photography.

How funny, I drove by this place two weeks ago. I was actually going to take a shot of it too, but I was running late for something-or-another. I did get some shots of a coffee join a few blocks down from it, though (coming soon).

When I was teenager back in the early 60s, they were 5 for $1. And now that I think of it, they were pretty nasty..... lots of grease and mayo. LOL. They also had a promotion that if your receipt had a red star on it, the burgers were free. Never heard of anyone getting the red star.
