Dorian Leigh models a satin and taffeta dress by Howard Greer. You can almost hear it rustle!

Yes this has got to be the most stunning evening dress ever!
    Obviously designed by a man.
For those of you who are interested, here is the text that came with the advert.

"Howard Greer drops a little jacket, all curves and puffs, over the merest lick of a dress - a checkerboard of satin and taffeta in black and navy blue. Bonwit Teller. Philadelphia; Marshall Field; Scruggs Vandervoot. Superb gloves. Claussner nylons. Harry Winston's diamond ice floe."

Hi David Barber calling. Wow what a fabulous cocktail creation. How small her waist is, obviously she is wearing a nip in corset or waspie. She is a model with a captial G for glamour and aluring. I bet the sound of that slim tight skirt, must be realy georgous! when she walks. No doubt also lined in the same taffeta as the skirt, the surrusss of her sheer nylon stockings against the sharp rustle of the taffeta skirt, must sound realy wonderful, and make her feel very feminine. Talk about getting aroused, that is EXACTLY HOW a woman SHOULD do it, not this flash show everything today. I would JUST LOVE to hear this dress, and feel it, and hear it against sheer nylon stockings. I wonder if this gown is still about? , no doubt in a museum or unless with some lucky collector. Anyone here own it? Warmest regards David.
