Bohemian Waxwing

The mass flock (ear-fill) of Bohemian Waxwings flew through my west end neighborhood eating all of the mountain ash berries they could this afternoon. There must have been 300-500 hundred of them. I could stand in my backyard and they would fly all around me, a unique experience to say the least.

I also checked out Grandin pond at lunchtime but didn't see too much of anything, redpolls, chickadees, magpies but no Junco's that is what I went looking for.

I have a few more images posted on my website.
