Constitution Day 9-17-12
FKCC celebrated the 225th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution with approximately 100 students, faculty, staff, and community members in the Library on September 17.

Coordinated by Business Law instructor and attorney Stephen Muffler, Constitution Day activities aim to educate participants on their rights under the Constitutional Amendments and encourage habits of being a good citizen. The program featured guest speakers, Monroe County Court Judge Wayne Miller and Florida Supreme Court Justice Fred Lewis, who spoke about the significance of the Constitution in our everyday lives.

Specials thanks to the Monroe County Bar Association for providing lunch as well as the City of Key West Citizens Review Board for providing pocket Constitutions.
