Tram Shelter South End Green

The old tram shelter at South End Green, Hampstead. A Hampstead resident donated the hut at the turn of the last century. This was to provide shelter to the tram drivers who in those days drove their trams with open fronts in all weathers.

After the trams it was used by the crews of the replacement trolleybuses. It was refurbish a few years ago after being unused for a long time. Now it is in use for bus drivers there.
