Moral Mondays - 11.28.16

Rev William Barber and the NAACP are standing up to our governor Pat McCrory. McCrory is trying to repeal the vote which ousted him this November. This is an ongoing struggle in our state. Pat McCrory was responsible for the now-famous HB-2 discriminatory bathroom bill that banned trans people from using public bathrooms of their gender identity.

Rev. Barber, who spoke at the DNC convention this year, organized this rally to fight hatred in our state. It's a unique protest because it draws an interfaith crowd, particularly left-leaning Christians who oppose HB-2 and other discriminatory legislature.

Rev. Barber used this rally cry throughout the night: "No Fear, No Hate, No Stealing This Election!"
